The Piqua Shawnee tribe is an officially recognized tribe among the Indian people. There were minimal chances that you will get a man doing farming while there are women to do that. Apart from farming, women were also tasked with cooking and taking care of the children.
When it came to the provision of game meat and fishing, that was a task that was primarily left for the men of the tribe to handle. For those that were in the plains, the hunting was mainly for buffalo, wild turkey, the dear and the bear. The beaver, deer, raccoon and the squirrel, were the main animals that were hunted by those that were in the woodland areas. The Shawnee kept their hair long except when they were to be engaged in a battle. The Shawnee used different weapons when they were faced with an enemy.
